Important Update July 2024
The physicians at Park Medical Associates are excited to announce that we have joined with Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians! In doing so, our practice will formalize our decades-long relationship with Johns Hopkins and will have the support of and access to services within the Johns Hopkins Health System.
Your will continue to see your doctor as before, at the same location, and at the same telephone number for questions and scheduling. We will continue to participate in the same insurance plans, including traditional Medicare (but not Medicare Advantage plans). You will notice several changes:
- Medical records: All medical records will be conducted within the Johns Hopkins system. This will greatly facilitate sharing of information with your specialists and access in case of hospitalization. Your current records will be imported into this platform.
- Portal: Our online portal Healow has closed and we now use MyChart. Many of you already recognize this as a user-friendly and feature-rich platform where you can view appointments, review your medical information, pre-register for visits, pay bills, and communicate with your doctor. As always, please remember that the portal is intended for brief communication and not for extended emails, urgent problems, or new health concerns.
- Scheduling: You will still need to call our office to schedule appointments.
- Billing: Billing for any services prior to July 1 will remain unchanged and payable to our current office. Billing for services on or after July 1 will be performed through Johns Hopkins Medicine. Just follow instructions on your bill and you'll be fine.
